Product Introduction
The RS8200 mechanical single drum vibratory road roller is a robust and highly efficient machine, designed for a range of compaction tasks on various surfaces. This model is powered by the Weichai Deutz engine, which provides strong performance while achieving approximately 18% lower fuel consumption compared to previous models. The engine also includes a starting enrichment function to enhance reliability and power delivery.
The roller features a reinforced drive axle from SDLG’s latest design, which ensures high bearing capacity and dependable performance. The mechanical countershaft transmission includes three forward gears and two reverse gears, offering smooth and stable gear shifts with a neutral start and reverse warning function for improved operational safety and comfort.
For vibratory functions, the roller is equipped with a PERMCO vibratory pump and motor, known for their consistent quality and reliable performance. The frame of the roller is constructed from high-quality sheet metal, providing a well-balanced load distribution and high durability.
The front and rear frames are connected by a slewing ball bearing, which facilitates easy assembly and disassembly while ensuring maintenance-free operation. The patented exciting mechanism from SDLG maintains high amplitude and frequency consistency on both sides of the vibratory drum, resulting in effective compaction. The international standard vibratory bearings offer excellent stability and reliability.
Cooling efficiency is maximized with the radiator system, which features an inline arrangement and a sealing spacer that separates the cool and hot areas to enhance cooling performance. The ratchet-controlled hand throttle allows for precise speed setting during vibrating operations, improving the compaction results.
The fully-enclosed cab is ergonomically designed to provide a spacious, bright, and comfortable working environment with a broad field of vision. It includes an integrated electrical system for easier inspection and maintenance, with a digital instrument cluster that ensures excellent human-machine interaction and real-time machine monitoring.
The engine hood, equipped with an electrically-controlled linear actuator, allows for easy, one-button opening and provides a wide angle for maintenance access. Optional OTR tyres and pad-feet can be added to meet diverse customer needs, making the RS8200 a versatile choice for various construction and compaction tasks.
